Board of Directors

The Chamber’s success is dependent on an active growing membership that sees value in Chamber membership, and Board governance that has a full understanding of policy and positions that can be developed within the purpose of the organization.

These two pieces are key to the continuing success of the organization. Democratic in organization principles, it represents the entire community, with membership reaching to every phase of community life. The Board of Directors is the elected policy body of the Mission Regional Chamber of Commerce and its members represent the business and professional leadership of the community.

Growing up in a trades-focused environment, Scott's strong work ethic propelled him to take a leap of faith and found SAH Disaster Restoration Services in 2011, a 24-hour, all-year emergency water and fire response business. A few years later, he added another division to the company, BC Trauma Cleaning, a 24-hour trauma cleaning and biohazard decontamination service. What started as a small enterprise is now a large team and quickly became a major player in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. Many of his workers followed him and took residence in Mission when he moved his business here from Coquitlam several years ago. He's proud to share that the business is a Certified Living Wage employer and an accredited Better Business Bureau (BBB} company. Scott's success has a lot to do with his work ethic, something he's undoubtedly learned from growing up surrounded by tradespeople and something he takes pride in sharing with his workforce and community.
