Committee Participation

All members of the Chamber are encouraged to play an active rolle in their organization. Committees offer an oppritunity to to have your voice heard at the table and contribute to the direction of the organization. A time commitment of 2-3 hours per month is required between September and June, most not meeting during the month of December.  Meetings are held at the behest of the Chair which includes consenus of the group.  For more information email the Chair of the committee you are interested in or contact the chamber manager.

Member Ambassador Program

Are you a connector? Highlight your skills and be a crucial link in connecting members at luncheons, business after hours or the golf tournament. As a Member Ambassador you would introduce new members and first time attendees as well as assist staff with creating a welcoming environment. Visitor Centre Ambassador Program

The Visitor Centre welcomes visitors and locals to Mission, assisting visitors with information on things to see and do locally as well as throughout the Province of British Columbia; ensuring visitors enjoy the best possible experience.

Mission Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Visitor Centre is seeking people to volunteer. This is an ideal opportunity for people who have recently retired and would like to give their time in a fun and exciting environment. We are looking for people with computer experience to commit to 4 hours per week in the visitor centre.

Absolutely no experience necessary! All you need is a friendly and outgoing personality, curiosity and a sense of adventure!
