The Chamber’s success is dependent on an active growing membership that sees value in Chamber membership, and Board governance that has a full understanding of policy and positions that can be developed within the purpose of the organization. These two pieces are key to the continuing success of the organization. Democratic in organization principles, it represents the entire community, with membership reaching to every phase of community life. The Board of Directors is the elected policy body of the Mission Regional Chamber of Commerce and its members represent the business and professional leadership of the community.
Ann Harper, CPA, CA
Ann Harper articled with Deloitte and Touche in Saint John, NB. She has worked in the private sector and non-profit sector and in the public accounting sector the last 15 years. She moved to Mission in 2006 and opened her own public accounting practice in 2009. Ann has been the Vice-President, Treasurer and the Membership Chairperson of the Chamber, past treasurer of Mission Community Foundation, the Mission Chapter of Business and Professional Women, Vancouver Chapter of the International Internal Auditors (IIA), Mission Community Services and of the 2009 World Police and Fire Games in Burnaby, BC. Ann served as the Director of Administration for the Mission 2014 BC Winter Games.

Pam is a noted community volunteer and has sat in various capacities on many community boards. Most recently she held the role of Vice President of the 2014 BC Winter Games. Pam was a school trustee for Mission Public Schools for six years and recently completed two contracts for the United Way Fraser Valley. A proud Rotarian for over 10 years, she served as its president in 2010. Presently Pam chairs the Chamber’s Tourism Committee and has participated in the Building Community Leadership Project Team.

Manager of Mission’s Prospera Credit Union since 2004, Sean finds that his involvement in the Chamber allows him to give back to the business community by having direct input into ways and methods of increasing the value they receive. Helping to create a vital and growing business community is a primary goal. Sean is a fully involved community leader who provides representation on the Mission Economic Development Select Committee and Community Futures North Fraser additionally Sean is on the board of Mission Hospice Society and Mission Community Services Society. He is a 9 year member of the Rotary Club of Mission Mid Day and a former Big Brother.

Having steered the Chamber for five times, Cal is a recognized community leader who operates with integrity and ethics. "Putting People First" is his personal trademark, while also defining his reputation within the community. A recognized parliamentarian, Cal also serves as Chair of Community Futures North Fraser Investments and is a past president of the Mission Mid-Day Rotary Club. Cal has been awarded with the District of Mission "Exemplary Citizen" award in 1992, the Mission Regional Chamber of Commerce "Citizen of the Year" award in 1995 and the "Business Leader of the Year" award in 2010.

Carol has lived in Mission for 38 years and started her career in banking in 1981 with the TD Bank in Mission. In 2001 she moved to Envision Financial and has held the position of Branch Manager of the Mission Branch since 2007. She is serving a 3rd term as an elected School Trustee for Mission Public Schools, having held the positions of both Chair and Vice Chair of The Board. A member of the Mid-Day Rotary Club in Mission, Chair in the 2014 Winter Games within the Sport Directorate, in her busy life she strives every day to see the “lighter side of life”.

His strengths include: Team Building, Communications and Short & Long-Term Planning. Fostering change, building consensus, utilizing resources and relationships, contributing to “grass roots” insight affecting day-to-day and long term planning best describe Dave’s strengths. Dave sits on the Government Affairs Committee of the Chamber as well as St. James & St. Ann’s Catholic School Education Committee, and is member of the Abbotsford Flying Club.

A Marketing & Event Planning consultant for the non-profit sector for 15 years, Kristin specializes in program development and fund development, finding ways to increase awareness, improve productivity, and create over efficiency in the organization. She is currently the Executive Director for Mission Adopt-a-Block Society and works with the Agassiz/Harrison RCMP as the Blockwatch Area Coordinator. She enjoys volunteering as a Big Sister and spending time with her family.
Andrea Walker is a freelance graphic designer and photographer and has been operating Walker Park Media, a boutique digital design agency serving small and medium business since 2010. Originating from Maple Ridge, Andrea was chair of Maple Ridge SPAC in 2011 before leaving her position when her family moved to Mission. Andrea is currently chair of the Mission Horse Club communications committee and organizer of Help Portrait Ridge Meadows.

Dustin joined IGL in April of 2011. He specializes in Group Benefit solutions including the Chamber of Commerce Group Insurance Plan. He is dedicated to learning about his client’s goals in order to help them build a secure plan for their future. Dustin pursues an active lifestyle with his wife outside of his professional life.
Elyssa has been a Chamber Board Member for several years and is the current Past President. During her year as President, Elyssa took policies to the BC Chamber AGM for adoption provincially; those policies were successfully adopted and later modified for adoption at the national level. She was named Citizen of the Year in 2013 and was part of the team of Directors who recently brought the BC Winter Games to Mission. Elyssa is also an appointed member of the Economic Development (Select) Committee.
Grace Martin is a mortgage broker that received her certification from UBC’s Sauder School of Business. She has a Masters in International Politics and a MBA in Organization, technology and marketing in foreign trade. Grace has experience as an export/import specialist and in foreign exchange banking.

Mayor Ted Adlem
Ted has worked primarily in the food industry – a range of food venues from Ship of the Seven Seas to Wendy’s restaurants – he has a broad range of experience in restaurant retail. Since March of 1996, he has been the owner/operator of Pete’s Place. Ted is an involved community member and has served on a number of boards and organizations including the Chamber of Commerce and the BC Restaurant and Food Association.
Community Futures North Fraser Liaison (Non Voting)
Allan moved to Mission in 2011 to take the position of Executive Director of the North Fraser Community Futures, a program that supports small business within the community. His background includes owning a small business, and providing marketing and management direction for a number of small companies. Allan has sat on the board of the Central Okanagan Community Futures and has been a member of a number of committees within the Community Futures organization. Allan is the Community Futures liaison on the Chamber.

Satnam (Satti) is owner of Swing Optical. He is a passionate entrepreneur who is an active member of the Mission Downtown Business Association where he has served as their past Treasurer. Satti serves on the Membership Committee of the Chamber.
