The Chamber’s success is dependent on an active growing membership that sees value in Chamber membership, and Board governance that has a full understanding of policy and positions that can be developed within the purpose of the organization. These two pieces are key to the continuing success of the organization. Democratic in organization principles, it represents the entire community, with membership reaching to every phase of community life. The Board of Directors is the elected policy body of the Mission Regional Chamber of Commerce and its members represent the business and professional leadership of the community.
Co-Owner of Nutek Sign Creations, David is a Community Minded, Family-Centric Business Professional; experienced in Management & Leadership, Client Relations and Business Development.
His strengths include: Team Building, Communications and Short & Long-Term Planning. He is also skilled in fostering change, building consensus, utilizing resources and relationships, which contributes to “grass roots” insight affecting day-to-day and long term planning. In his prior career working in the construction and industrial equipment rental industry, he has experience in divisional management and acquisition.
David is currently the President and Board Chair of the Mission Regional Chamber of Commerce in addition to being a longstanding member and former chair of the Chamber’s Government Affairs Committee.
David lives in Abbotsford with his wife of 15 years, Suzanna, and their 4 children. As well, David is a board member of the St. James & St. Ann’s Catholic School Education Committee, and is a member of the Abbotsford Flying Club.

Andrea Walker is a freelance graphic designer and photographer and has been operating Walker Park Media, a boutique digital design agency serving small and medium business since 2010. Originating from Maple Ridge, Andrea was chair of Maple Ridge SPAC in 2011 before leaving her position when her family moved to Mission. Andrea is currently chair of the Mission Horse Club communications committee and organizer of Help Portrait Ridge Meadows.

With over 10 years’ experience in Finance and Accounting, Alana brings experience from non-profit, education, public practice and industry sectors. She has been at Fraser Valley Building Supplies for 3 years where she loves her job as Controller. Alana’s leadership experience includes representing her peer group on several leadership committees. These include the Student Advisory Group through CGA-BC, attending the Strategic Planning Sessions for CGA-BC as the sole student representative and coordinating an event that raised funds for the Canadian Cancer Society. Alana currently sits on the Events Committee for the Mission Chamber. In her spare time, Alana enjoys reading, playing soccer and spending time with her husband and two daughters.

Ann Harper, CPA, CA
Ann Harper articled with Deloitte and Touche in Saint John, NB. She has worked in the private sector and non-profit sector and in the public accounting sector the last 15 years. She moved to Mission in 2006 and opened her own public accounting practice in 2009. Ann has been the Vice-President, Treasurer and the Membership Chairperson of the Chamber, past treasurer of Mission Community Foundation, the Mission Chapter of Business and Professional Women, Vancouver Chapter of the International Internal Auditors (IIA), Mission Community Services and of the 2009 World Police and Fire Games in Burnaby, BC. Ann served as the Director of Administration for the Mission 2014 BC Winter Games.

Tony Luck, born in Vancouver and growing up in Richmond is a consultant at Investors Group Financial Services Inc. He joined the company in 2006 after a twenty-seven year career with BC Hydro. He held a number of positions at the crown corporation and changed careers while a business analyst in the call center.Tony has spent numerous years in the past working with various groups and organizations including the Boy Scouts and is currently a director of the Mission Community Foundation. He loves road trips on his motorcycle, reading, boating and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Manager of Mission’s Prospera Credit Union since 2004, Sean finds that his involvement in the Chamber allows him to give back to the business community by having direct input into ways and methods of increasing the value they receive. Helping to create a vital and growing business community is a primary goal. Sean is a fully involved community leader who provides representation on the Mission Economic Development Select Committee and Community Futures North Fraser additionally Sean is on the board of Mission Hospice Society and Mission Community Services Society. He is a 9 year member of the Rotary Club of Mission Mid Day and a former Big Brother.

Tia Everitt is Sales & Marketing Consultant for Chartwell Cedarbrooke Retirement Residence, and is responsible for building the company’s brand and community presence in Mission. Tia is passionate about making lives better for seniors and their families, and helping them navigate the waters of retirement living.
Tia is committed to business advocacy and outreach in Mission, and is an active member of the Chamber Government Affairs Committee. She also serves as Treasurer of the Mission, Abbotsford & Chilliwack Senior Service Providers Association, Principal & Consultant of Incipe Worker’s Cooperative and Director of Vibrant Social Impact Ventures.
Originally from Kitimat, Tia’s sales and operations management career has taken her to Toronto, Winnipeg and far-flung regions of Northern Canada. Tia has been married to her husband Rick for over 16 years, and they are the parents of two ‘tweenage’ girls. They spend much of their free time outdoors in the beautiful Fraser Valley, and driving to swim meets across the Lower Mainland. She is presently pursuing post-professional studies in gerontology.

A longtime resident of Mission, Jason graduated from UFV with a Bachelor of Criminal Justice degree in 2000. He attended law school at the University of British Columbia, receiving his Juris Doctor degree in 2014. Jason did his articles at Taylor, Tait, Ruley and Company, completing his articled in June 2015, when he became an associate lawyer at the firm.

Brian Rock was born in Maple Ridge and moved to Mission before the age of 1. From a close family of four, he attended elementary and high school in Mission and is a proud citizen. Brian joined the family pharmacy business and played a significant role in its growth to five retail outlets. During this time he served on a variety of task forces and committees, ranging from civic initiatives to downtown business improvements. In 2008 Brian obtained his Real Estate License and was recently elected, as a Director to the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board.

Mr. Asvind Mani is the chief executive officer and general manager of Mission Automotive. He founded The Mission Automotive Group (formerly the MMA Group) in 2003 which now includes Mac’s Towing and Recycling Corporation and Lakshmi Development Ltd. Mr. Mani began his career working in the automotive industry and has more than 10 years’ experience working in the automotive and steel related industries.

Mayor Randy Hawes
Randy Hawes was first elected as a Councillor in Mission in 1987. In 1993, Randy won the first of three consecutive terms as Mayor of
Mission. In 2001, Randy was elected to the provincial legislature and re-elected in 2005 and 2009. He was elected Mayor of Mission for a fourth term in November of 2014.
Randy Hawes and his family moved to Mission in 1979. He worked in the banking and real estate sectors before being elected a Councillor of the District of Mission in 1987.
Community Futures North Fraser Liaison (Non Voting)
Allan moved to Mission in 2011 to take the position of Executive Director of the North Fraser Community Futures, a program that supports small business within the community. His background includes owning a small business, and providing marketing and management direction for a number of small companies. Allan has sat on the board of the Central Okanagan Community Futures and has been a member of a number of committees within the Community Futures organization. Allan is the Community Futures liaison on the Chamber.
